Figure Study - Victoria - Accordion

In my 2018 quest to complete a Georgian College photography assignment, I was asked by fellow photography student Shawny Ruether if I would be interested in photographing her friend Victoria (22) to be my third model for this series. I was also pleased that Shawny volunteered to be my studio assistant. . I have shoot a lot of models for my series but Victoria is the only model who was a total stranger. I’m grateful for her trust in my abilities to create some incredible images. A big thank you to Jessica Rosati who provided the really cool accordion.

History - The accordion is believed to be invented by Christian F.L. Buschmann in 1822 in Berlin, Germany. It belongs in the bellows-driven free reed aerophone group which includes Harmonicas, Flutinas, Garmons and Reed Organs.

Shot at the Georgian College photography studio, March 14, 2018.
