Figure Study - Bonnie - Cymbals

I have known Bonnie (59) for almost 30 years when we met at a local country bar. She was surprised when I asked her to model for my series considering most of my models have been in their twenties. I was pleased when she immediately agreed. What most people don’t know is Bonnie recently retired and was three weeks short of her 60th birthday. The cymbals were provided the David Chislett of the Barrie Sea Cadet Band.Many thanks to my studio assistant Jessica Rosati for making everything go smoothly.

History - the cymbals are part of the percussion family of instruments and were developed in the 7th century BCE
