Figure Study - Ally - Bass Recorder

I was fortunate to meet Ally (30) a couple years ago through my photographer friend Jessica. She has graciously posed for me before in 2022 by a waterfall in Muskoka. I was excited to hear that she was interested in posing for my series. A big thank you goes out to her spouse Rob as I did not have anyone to assist me or provide moral support for Ally. I am also grateful for the loan of the bass recorded from fellow photographer and music teacher Gillian Seaman.

History - the bass recorder is one of many types of recorders that belong to the wind instrument family. These instruments are have thought to be around since the early 17th century.
