Figure Study Sue - Saxophone

This was the second time during this series where I got the opportunity to have the mother of one of my models to take part in this series. Sue (45) is the mother of Ashley, violin model, who I has the pleasure of graduating with from the Georgian College Photography program. Sue suggested a couple poses with the saxophone that I had not thought of which resulted in some amazing pics. As always I would like to thank my studio assistant Jessica Rosati for her keen eye for detail. Saxphone was rented from Long and McQuade in North York.

History - The saxophone is classified as a type of woodwind instrument. It was invented by a Belgium instrument maker named Adolphe Sax in the early 1840s. There are four types of saxophones including the Alto, Soprano, Tenor and Baritone.
